Myth 1:
We should consume certain food groups.
This is false. Many diets, crash, in particular regimes, advise cutting out particular foods groups or only eating food from a food group. Our body can not function on a kind type of food, we need a balanced and varied diet to stay healthy. We need a little fat, a little protein, vegetables, plenty of water, carbohydrates and fiber. Even some so-called 'bad' foods. It will take some of them, if only in moderation, but nothing should be cut completely. Fruits, grains, nuts and seeds are also essential for a strong immune system that fights effectively against the disease to keep us healthy.
Myth 2:
You can get protein from meat.
This is not true. Fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, legumes and oils all contain protein. The meat is actually high in fat and sodium, especially red meat. Cereals, oils, vegetables and nuts actually contain much protein. Our body needs about 30 grams of protein per day, so you do not have to eat nothing but meat to get your daily quota.
Myth 3:
To lose weight, reduce fat.
Our bodies actually need some fat to function properly. It allows muscles and joints to function properly. So you should avoid hydrogenated fats, as the nutritional fats for health such as avocados, olive oil and raw nuts are excellent.
Myth 4:
You'll have to go about losing weight.
Women, on average, should not consume less than 1,200 calories per day and men in general should not eat less than 1800 calories per day. Instead of snacking on foods high in sugar, if you eat as many fruits and vegetables that you can, you will not only meet but also you will not go hungry. There will be no impact on your weight. The best way to lose weight is to eat foods as naturally as you can. No added or preservatives and avoid unnecessary fats sugar. Just eat what your body needs and no more, you will lose weight, stay healthy and live longer.
